Guitar Tunings & String Gauges for my various bands

String Gauge 46-10
Everything in RC was tuned down a half step like this:

Except “House of Pain” (on the RC live CD) used this tuning:
String Gauge 56-13

String Gauge 46-10
On the Jailhouse EP Alive In A Mad World we tuned to standard A 440.

On our full length self titled Jailhouse CD we tuned mostly like Rough Cutt did. Down a half step.
String gauge 46-10 & 52-10

Except for the song “The Innocent” which we dropped the low Eb to a Db.

All the older songs on that self titled CD were in standard tuning.
They were:
“Sweet Angel”
“Love Me”
“Please Come Back”
and “Running”
As well as the songs from the EP Alive In A Mad World that were included.

String Gauge 56-13
In Orgy we tuned everything down low like this:

Except on the CD Punk Statik Paranoia the song “Beautiful Disgrace” is tuned super low:

String Gauge 56-13
In JK when we actually use guitars we tune them like this:

As you can see I like to tune low for a thicker / darker sound. While using heavier strings to compensate for more tension. Making the strings more taunt also helps my G-Synth's track better as well.
Oh yeah, and on the synth's in Julien-K I prefer to write on the Black keys......
